Kim received a bachelor's in Child & Family Development at the University of Georgia, and has interned and worked at the Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center. She has experience working with young children, from infancy to school-age for over six years. Kim has experience as lead teacher for the 3-year-old preschool class at Morningside Day Out. Kim has assisted with regular social skills groups for children with social and pragmatic language delays. She was able to lead groups of preschool children and school-age children, assist with activities, and even help with children who required sensory or movement breaks. Over the past year, Kim has served as a play therapist for children ages three to seven, both in a 2:1 setting and individually.
In summer of 2016, Kim was also given the opportunity to work under a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who contracts with our company. She was given training in ABA theory and techniques and has worked almost daily providing ABA therapy to a child with Autism since that time.
